What a week, what a month, what a year. I hope all of you are hanging in there and most importantly that you and your loved ones are staying happy and healthy. I've been thinking of what to do or say, but for me it's been tough to find the right words. It's hard to gauge that we're living in historic times, that people are losing jobs en mass, small businesses are hurting beyond belief and that some of my favorite local businesses may not recover and will have to close up shop forever. High school kids are missing out on proms, sports, social events, and graduation is lingering with unknowns...
My own daughter found out she was accepted to a University this month (Congrats Jaz!) but with so many things on hold, it's been hard to navigate the next steps. I am grateful that I can work from home and keep thinking that this extra time with my kids is something I've wished for, not under these circumstances of course, but I'm determined to make the best out of our reality.
I am sharing my thoughts with you because behind the boutique, I'm a real person with a family just like you, and while I appreciate your support, I understand there are major things happening in the world right now and it's important that you support and do what's best for you and your family in your local communities.
I wish for peace, hope, happiness and health to all of you. We're in this together.
